Bonus Bids

Bonus Bids are one special and are our way of thanking bidders for coming to Bidazzled.

There are only two types of bids on Bidazzled:

• Normal Bids (paid bids), and
• Bonus Bids (complimentary)

Once you are a registered user on the site and are signed in, you will notice on the header bar to the right of your username a counter for your Bids and Bonus Bids.  This is where you can get a snapshot of your total available bids.

Bonus Bids act just like real bids when you are bidding on an auction.  You can very easily win an auction using nothing more than bonus bids (assuming of course nobody outbids your last price).   The one single item you need to always remember about bonus bids is that they have a limited lifespan.  Bonus Bids only live for 7 days and then disappear.   They act and are designed to work as a reward system to our bidders – similar to a limited time offer for preferred customers.

To ensure you have the best opportunity to use them, every time you place a bid on Bidazzled and you have bonus bids available – the bonus bid will be taken first.  So regular bids are taken only when there are no more bonus bids available.

There are many ways bonus bids can be earned, they are:

• When you purchase a bid package.  The more paid bids you purchase, the greater the percentage of bonus bids you receive.
• If you lose an auction and used normal bids in the auction.  We give you bonus bids under our Bids-Back program.   Depending on where you finished in the auction (2nd to last), you receive a percentage of your bids back in the form of Bonus Bids.  Currently, the maximum quantity of bids you can earn back in bonus bids if 50.  You receive these bids back even if you elect to apply all your paid bids towards the purchase of the item under our “Buy-Now” program.
• When you refer friends to Bidazzled and they register.  We have a number of tools to help you invite your friends to Bidazzled and if they come to Bidazzled using your unique URL code and register – we reward you with 5 Bonus Bids and your friend also receives 5 regular bids.  It works like this:
  • • Level 1: You refer Bob and Bob registers, you receive 5 Bonus Bids and Bob receives 5 regular bids.
      • Level 2. Bob refers Sally.  You receive 4 Bonus Bids
        • Level 3. Sally refers Tony.  You receive 3 Bonus Bids
          • Level 4. Tony refers Kendra.  You receive 2 Bonus Bids
            • Level 5. Kendra refers David.  You receive 1 Bonus bid and all else receive their respective levels
    • In order to track and assign bonus bids, a referred person has to come to our site via your unique URL and then register.  Your unique URL is based on your username.  Let’s say your username is “UserDemo”.  The URL your friends would click on would be:  “www.bidazzled.com/?userdemo” and our inviting software lets you invite as many or as few of your friends as you want with just a few clicks utilizing all of the popular social media sites, online email services, etc.  For more info on this service – click on the “Get 5 Free bids” icon on the right hand side of the home page once you are logged in.  A flash demo will take you through it.
• Lastly, some auctions may be for Bonus Bids.  These will typically be last minute pop-in auctions with little advance warning as a way to spice things up and let you grab a great deal cheap.
